Any challenge you face is a learning experience. Any misfortune you encounter is an opportunity to grow. Any wrong turn, will lead you somewhere new and all of your struggles will make any reward that much better.
I saw Katie Piper walking down the high street today and it reminded me that I hadn’t mentioned that I went to “My Beautiful Ball”, an event held in aid of The Katie Piper Foundation a couple of weeks ago. It was a really beautiful event held in central London at The Savoy (a hotel I have dreamed of visiting). I thought you might enjoy some photos.
The dress I’m wearing is one of our own creations, it’s not completed yet – but I was only given a days notice before the ball and this was all we had! It’s a black bodycon dress with a gold-sequin inner to the floor. We plan to add some gold letters to the waistband. To follow the fashion side of what I do, click here.
My Glorious will always hold a place in my heart after my trip to Austria to perform at their album launch in 2010. Watch this video, and share it. These guys deserve so much more recognition. The video is beautiful.
It may not look like it from the photo, but I was really happy to be able to perform a couple of shows last week in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. I was even happier to see so many of you come and watch.
