Illamasque (beauty company) and Leverton & Sons (funeral directors), have joined hands to create a rather interesting collaboration. They call it “The Final Act of Self-Expression”, from £450 you can have highlights in your hair, false lashes and metallic make-up after you die. I’ve seen a couple of articles making a fuss about it, saying it’s in “bad taste”…however, it’s not far from what happens at the moment. The body is normally re-clothed, hair is brushed and make-up is done to make you look “less dead”.

However, the question it makes me ask is: do I really want people looking at me after I die? If the answer is yes, then I would definitely take an interest in this collaboration.
