I think I mentioned this girl before: Oh Land. As much as this doesn’t look/sound live, apparently it is, and I believe them. Man, I wish I could afford her mic.
Next – Frankmusik – how can he afford to be giving so much free music away? Check it out here: http://freefrankmusik.com/
Another thing I’ve mentioned before, but my friend runs a music blog called Milky Tea Kid, and I’d love it if you checked out her site http://www.milkyteakid.com
The shop will most likely be shutting down over March while I’m out in LA – again, if you know anybody out there that would be up for meeting up, let me know.
So as most of you have noticed, I am going to LA and Austin this coming March on a little adventure.
If you know anybody out there, or if you yourself are in LA or Austin and might want to meet up or show me around or introduce me to people – anything like that…please get in touch! Linda(at)LindaHarrisonMusic.com
I’ve had people asking me how to donate, and also people donating using systems that aren’t quite as you’d expect. So here’s instructions on the best way to donate, and also information on TheSixtyOne’s Tips Scheme
First off, here is the best way to donate:
1) Go to my website (you may already be on it if you’re reading this).
2) Click on the red heart on the bar along the bottom of the window (on the left hand side of the Wibiya bar along the bottom of the page). This will take you to a PayPal window.
3) Type the amount you want to donate in the box and click “Update Total”.
After this you have two options depending on whether you have a paypal account.
If you have a paypal account, sign in using the form, and then confirm your payment.
If you haven’t got an account, there is a blurb to the left of the sign in form which has a link to continue, click continue and then follow their instructions.

Another way which people have been using to donate is via TheSixtyOne website. Thank you so much to those of you who have! However, I feel that there may be details that you don’t know about the way TheSixtyOne deals with donations.
Basically, the first $20 that gets donated, doesn’t come to me – it goes to TheSixtyOne (to cover their website costs). To collect the donations, there has to be over $25 in the account and I receive 85% of that.
So for those of you being so kind to leave tips for me on TheSixtyOne but would prefer the money to go directly into my new music, please use the heart button on the bottom of my website.
