On my Spotify “What’s New” front-page today there was only one new release. But my word that is a serious music collection. If only they were all still alive and those were the new releases.

I can’t help but notice that there have been a lot of incredibly smart pedal-bicycles around recently…but the owners don’t tend to wear helmets. Now…I know, maybe I’m not rebellious enough? But I’ve heard/seen the damages of not wearing a helmet, and would prefer not to end up a vegetable with mash-potatoe for brains.

Instead, I think I’ll be obtaining one of these bad-boys:

But apparently they’re made by a company from Kazakhstan and I can’t imagine they’ll be over here any time soon (http://www.good.kz/). Maybe I’ll just have to stretch my DIY skills and make one…

I lived with a couple of them at the YMCA and they are the most wonderful bunch of guys. Every time I’ve seen them live they’ve blown my mind and made me want to step my game up.

It’s not often that I’d say I’m a true fan of someone – but Daphne Guinness just blows my socks off. Her sense of style and ethos are just perfect. Beautiful.

So I expect a lot of you are wondering what happened with the live broadcast. So let’s say good news first and then bad….

Good news: 246 people tuned in to watch it live!

Bad news: There was some kind of technical glitch causing buzzing, echoing and syncing issues – making it horrible to listen to.

So much went into preparing for this, the technicalities were checked over and over and many rehearsals were done to confirm that it would all work as planned – the only thing that we hadn’t tested perhaps, was 246 people watching it at the same time…however I’ve seen Bambuser videos that have been broadcasted to 1000s of people…so to be honest I don’t understand what happened. It makes no sense.

Thank you SO MUCH to all of you who tuned in, I’m sorry it was such a disappointment. It really meant the world to me that so many of you got involved and showed your support, and I hope you all enjoy the 2nd video I posted.

I think I might have to buy these. In the belief that I will never see a pair like these ever again. Stunning.

I was told that I was strange, because I can happily go shopping and not buy anything. I just love going into shops and seeing that they have great clothes, it excites me. One day I’ll be able to buy them…one day soon hopefully.
