It’s been an interesting few months, with loads of high highs and low lows. As it comes to the end of a great year, a lot of us are reminiscing on the past but also looking to the future.
Lately I’ve been looking at so many amazing artists (not just musicians, but poets, photographers, fashion designers – the lot!) and thinking how on earth I can be as great as they are. However, tonight I remembered something I used to always tell myself when I was young;
“you’re the best, but you’re no better than the rest”. I think it works for everyone. If you’re getting arrogant, you remind yourself to be humble; but when you’re lacking confidence, you remind yourself that everyone is equal. We are so lucky to have so many imaginative people out there that are working to share their art with us.
I want to say a big thanks to all of you guys that have been supporting me through buying my music, it means the world. Also thanks to those of you who have left comments, e-mailed me and rated my videos on YouTube, you guys are my support and those of you who I’ve gotten to know a little are incredible people. I hope you all have a happy Christmas and an incredible New Year. It’s time to let go and party!
